Members

Currently we are not accepting memberships as we are not fully formed (nor do we have anywhere to play yet – but we’re working on that!).

However, if you’d like to become a founding member of the Erie Disc Golf Club, we are planning to have two forms of lifetime membership. We are capping this setup at TEN members, so contact Erik quickly if you’d like to join as one of the ten lifetime membership.

  • Family Lifetime Membership – Two parents and any children 18 years of age or younger living with the parents in one household. This counts as one membership. Cost of a Lifetime Family Membership: $250.
  • Individual Lifetime Membership – One individual aged 18 years or older. This also counts as one membership. Cost of an Individual Lifetime Membership: $200.

These lifetime memberships are primarily a fund-raising effort for not only our first disc golf course, but for our incorporation as a not-for-profit organization.

Our lifetime members will receive a special bag tag (once our logo is created and finalized) and the same discount off tournament entry fees (excluding mandated such as Ace Races) as club members who pay yearly.

Eventually, Erie Disc Golf Club (EDGC) will accept yearly memberships. These memberships will run around $25 annually and may include some perks like a “member kit” (a stamped disc, a bag tag, a mini marker, etc.) and reduced entry fees, free league play, etc.

  1. I am glad to help with the course. I have played in LA California, Madison Wi, Milwaukee, Wi, Ohio and NC.
I have a home course with my own basket.
I am looking forward to an Erie course.

  2. I’m going to be living in the area. I’m interested in helping. Please contact me at your convenience.

  3. I am moving to Erie this winter and will be very interested in helping build the sport. I learned to play in San Francisco 2 years ago and have played since, all over. Anything I can do to get folks to understand how to grip it and rip it…I’m in!

  4. I just stumbled on this page and got a little excited that there might be a DG community in Erie. I’m very new to the sport and very interested in picking it up again in the spring. I see by the dates on the posts that not much is happening.
